Like nearly every website, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical logs when pages are requested, such as IP address, browser type, and the pages visited. Third-party services this site uses

A small number of outside services are involved in delivering this website. Each receives only what is technically necessary to do its job:

  • Form processing: messages sent through our contact form are delivered to us by a form-processing service, which handles your submission on our behalf.
  • Google Fonts delivers the site's typefaces from Google's servers, which receive your IP address as part of serving the font files (Google privacy policy).

How we share information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with the service providers listed above (solely so they can perform their functions), or when the law requires us to.

In-store transactions

When we buy gold or silver in the store, North Carolina law requires us to record certain information about the transaction, including details from your government-issued photo ID. Those records are created in the store, not through this website, and are retained and disclosed only as the law requires.

Security

This website is served entirely over HTTPS, collects no more information than described here, stores no customer database, and processes no payments. Limiting what we collect is our primary security measure: information we never collect is information that can never leak.

Children
